JOB OVERVIEW
We are now looking for passionate and active Finance experts who take pleasure in their capacity to supply innovative ideas to our visitors and exceptional degrees of customer care.
Your duties as an Outlet Cashier will include crucial ones such as maintaining the house fund and its security.
• Every food & beverage sale in the outlet should have a check recorded in the POS system. • other meals consumed by staff members or other services provided to guests as complimentary or entertainment should also have a check documented in the POS system.
Record opening and closing check numbers used throughout his/her shift in the Night Auditors logbook; make sure all checks are accounted for and utilized serially. Open a guest check in the POS system, punching orders, splitting and shifting tables, settling checks as cash, room charge, credit card or city ledger.
• At the end of his or her shift, prepare cashier's summary and tally it against Micros (POS) reading. Using physical check and Micros reading, print and total transaction list from credit card terminals. In front of a witness who has also signed the witness column of the cashier's deposit sheet, prepare a deposit envelope, record the deposit amount on the cashier's deposit sheet, and drop the envelope into the Front Office safe depository.
Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
A diploma or degree in hotel management or accounting and prior hotel environment experience are required. While knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM and SUN System is a plus, good English communication skills and computer literacy are absolutely required.
